Family Fund

The Family Fund gives grants to families caring for a disabled or seriously ill child. These grants are for things that are not supplied by statutory authorities such as family breaks, digital equipment, white goods, clothing, bedding, furniture and play equipment.


Who is it for?

• Typically for families on benefits or low incomes
  
  

• To decide if you are eligible, the Family Fund looks at your income and the impact of disability on your child
  
  
  

How to claim?

You can apply for a Family Fund grant on the Family Portal. Alternatively you can download an application pack to print, complete and return. Before you apply you should check your eligibility.
